Luigi Negroni, Maestro Di Cucina, is the artist behind Carlucci’s menu and highly regarded among culinary trendsetters. Born in Imola, Italy, a small city outside of Bologna, Luigi trained at the internationally heralded San Domenico, one of Italy’s top five restaurants. He has since stirred attention to Italian fare across America at high-profile eateries including Donatello’s of San Francisco and the nationally heralded Etrusca Restaurant part of the prestigious Il Fornaio Restaurant Corporation. Since coming to Chicago in 1991, Luigi has worked exclusively for Carlucci Hospitality Group, sharing his gourmet intuition and inspiring others to appreciate Tuscany’s robust traditions.
